According to Lemonrock, The Daves were a four man burst of energy delivering all the classic punk anthems, from the Pistols and the Clash through to Green Day. A high energy performance makes for an entertaining evening.

Then, some time during 2014, they evolved into a three-piece unit as ‘Knock Off’, having gained the percussive services of Any Carroll from The Informers.

I first saw The Daves at The Oddfellows Arms in Apsley.
Their next aural onslaught was again at The Odds. (26/11/2010)
Four and a half years later, I caught up with Knock Off, photographically speaking, at London’s 100 Club, Supporting Sham 69. Also appearing were Dirk Royal. (15/021, Friday 27th February 2015)
Knock Off were again in a supporting role, this time for The Members in The Harvest Home way out in the wilds of Houghton Regis. Additional support came from the Dog Town Rebels, and the Death Owls. (15/024, Saturday 7th March 2015)
