The Beatniks are a duo comprising two members of The Overtures, whose fans reputedly include a certain Mr. Elton John. With the emphasis on 60s and 70s music, both variants are well worth watching.
This album is from a charity event to open The Hitchin Festival shows the Beatniks in the deceptively large Hermitage Road Restaurant. Sharing our table were The X-certs, and members of Wired. A fun evening. (13/073, Monday 24th June 2013)
