2010

In 2009, The CRF moved to a new venue, Haggis Farm, on the outskirts of Cambridge.  I can’t remember why, but we didn’t go that year.  Whatever it was, we approached 2010 with renewed enthusiasm. The bands I actually watched are shown in white.  Day 1, Thursday, featured: STAGE 1; Pure Floyd Show, Smokin’ Hogs, Split Whiskers, Led Zep Too, The 80s Rocked (but didn’t stay until the end). STAGE 2; Rowse, Forever Living Dead, The Treatment, Joanofarc, Virginmarys, Two Choices.

2011

2011, and it’s back to Haggis Farm.  I arrived late through ‘unforseen circumstances’ at the eye clinic in Stoke Mandeville hospital where my eyes unexpectedly ‘got lasered’, so only took a few ‘background’ pictures, with none of the bands. The line-ups were: Stage 1; The Skynyrd Experience, Split Whiskers, The Pure Floyd Show, Ultimate Eagles, The Hamsters.  Stage 2;

2016

There was no CRF in 2015, so after a two-year gap, it was good to see some old friends that I hadn’t seen in that time.  Of course, there was a fair smattering of Classic Rock Tours fans, as well as people I see regularly at ‘local’ venues.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t diligent in keeping notes about whom I saw of the many fine bands,but here’s what I can remember.  I also cut down on the number of bands I saw to avoid ‘overload’.  Day 1, Thursday: Stage 1; DEC/73, Ozzy Ozzspawn, Purple Jimi, Miss-Led, Oye Santana, Creedence Clearwater Review, Atomic Rooster, Pure Floyd.
